Biografía

Having grown up in the parochial violence of Northern Ireland, I have always found the concept of a pan-european identity not only attractive but essential. As a result, by the age of 17 I was already travelling alone in France and Spain, have studied English, French and Spanish to ‘A-Level’, and lived abroad since finishing my degree. I have participated in a number of European Citizens’ Initiatives in the areas of health and education, most recently the greek initiative on education spending and public deficits. My partner is French.
